LaTour Golf Course



The golf Gods are just not shining on NOWGA these days.  Although the early fog did burn off and the skies were a beautiful blue, it was CART PATH ONLY.  Forty women showed up to get their exercise for the day and though only 17 left with a prize, everyone enjoyed the great Cajun hospitality of the staff at LaTour.  The food was delicious and the service was first class.  We look forward to a return trip to this great golf course.

CYPRESS LAKES GOLF COURSE


If you thought City Park was a challenge and meant only for the tough at heart, you had another thought coming.  Of those ladies who showed up hoping for a clearing in the weather, only 18 were tough enough to don their rain gear and hit the Tee Boxes.  It rained throughout more than half of the tournament and I think the ducks enjoyed the day more than the golfers.  EVERYONE was anxiously looking forward to the 19th Hole and I believe even the non-drinkers considered having a belt.
